CENTRE: Dr Yusuf Dadoo Hospital (Krugersdorp)
REQUIREMENTS: An appropriate 3 years Post Graduate Certificate in archival studies with at least 3 years supervisory experience in records management or grade 12 with minimum of 5 years experience in records management and achieves. Be conversant with NARS Act no.43.of 1996 as amended and life cycle of records. Good report writing skills, computer literacy and code 8 drivers license is compulsory. The successful candidate must be willing to work under pressure, go an extra mile and be innovative. Have good interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and promote high standard of professional ethics.
DUTIES: Plan, organise, lead, coordinate and control all activities pertaining to records, MVA, Archives and late registration departments. Maintain internal control measures in records and Archives as per norm and standard. Maintain good record keeping, Records management practices and ensure compliance to retention schedules and disposal process. Provide training and other intervention to ensure proper interpretation, application and compliance to all statutory requirements and adherence to all policies, procedure Manuals and guidelines that governs quality management of Records and Archives practices. Improve administrative system to address issues of Auditor General and quality Assurance Standards. Maintain sound labour relation environment/progressive discipline and give advice and support in areas of responsibility. Maintain compliance to PMDS.
