Key Purpose To provide a world class service offering to franchises and brokers by utilizing strong administrative and relationship building skills.
Key Outputs The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following broad job functions:
• Servicing of Discovery Life contracts post issue
• Responsible for building and maintaining a long term relationship with our DFC/DCS customer base
• Liaison with DCS/DFC Franchises in order to provide quality customer service
• Resolving of queries and escalations
• Achievement of service levels and team performance and goals
• Involvement in various department projects
• Ownership and accountability of all telephonic and written queries
Competencies • Customer Focused – must have the ability to work with a range of people and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. ( written, verbal and telephonic)
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise , plan , manage deadlines and control own work
• The ability to be self-motivated and pro-active.

Qualifications & Experience ESSENTIAL:

• Matric with Mathematics
• Minimum of at least 3 – 4 years working experience in an Administrative role
• Minimum of at least 2 – 4 years working experience within the Life Insurance or Financial Services Industry
• Client Relationship Management experience will be an advantage
• Computer Literacy (MS Word, Outlook and Excel)
• Fully bilingual in both English AND Afrikaans – must be able to read, write and speak fluently in both languages
