Remuneration Level: R285 384 per annum

Generic Requirements:
 Applicants must display competency in the post-specific functions of the post;
 Be in possession of a Senior Certificate (Grade 12);
 Be (proficient) in at least two official languages, of which one must be English;
 Must be a SA citizen.
 Must have no previous convictions or cases pending;
 Be in possession of a light vehicle driver’s licence (SAPS Act appointments)
 Be able to render at least ten (10) years of pensionable service before reaching the pensionable age of 60 (SAPS Act, 1995) or 65 (Public Service Act, 1994) years.
Additional Requirements:
 Must be in possession of a NQF 6 qualification in Human Sciences / Economic and Management Sciences or related field of study with 2 years relevant experience in the field of the post.
 Competency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be an advantage;
 Be able to work under pressure as well as extended hours.
Core Functions:
* Provide management control on administrative functions and service in the office of the Head to ensure: The maintenance of good organizational systems , document management, document movement and aligned documents with Registry and Archive systems, Secretarial and other services and functions are properly organized and applied and commitments are professionally attend to;
 Manage stakeholder consultations and recording of decisions in ensuring that: consultations are properly organized for information management and properly recorded, proper record keeping of decisions and provide and communicate general briefing information on decisions taken;
 Undertake quality control of reporting, document control and information management of the office, with the managing of personnel’s performance, ensure performance management and agreement reporting, compliance with MISS and document control, handle grievances and conflicts;
 Manage and control human and physical resources of the office with the implementation of financial control measures and safe-keeping of face value documents, submission of claims on expenditure on time and travelling arrangements are made and accommodation secured.

The copies must be correctly certified on the copy itself, not at the back. The certification must not be older than three months.
Qualifications and driver’s licences submitted will be subjected to verification checking with the relevant institutions. The South African Police Service will verify the residential address of applicants and conduct reference checks. Appointments will be made in terms of the SAPS Act, 1995 or Public Service Act, 1994 as applicable to the post environment.
Applicants appointed under the Police Service Act will be subjected to a medical assessment by a medical practitioner as determined by SAPS prescripts.
Applicants appointed under the Police Service Act will be subjected to undergo a lateral entry training programme at a SAPS training institution, where applicable.
